This is my example. We studied Dr. Suess bird characters and then I had the children draw their own bird and color it with crayons.
We then built a 3D bird with newspaper, masking tape and plaster strips. Next we added paint, feathers and pipe cleaners. Dr. Suess birds came alive!!!
